At the point of sale you can purchase a variety of different warranties but even if you purchase the car elsewhere you can still purchase a warranty from the Oldtimer Centre.In general the major mechanical items on a car that are of a concern are the engine, gearbox & differential. Minor items are
anything from the brakes, the cooling system, electrical system, air conditioners all the way to computers, ignitions & even Turbo Chargers.
Value offers up to $1,000.00 on major items $300.00 on minor ones.
Classic offers up to $1,750.00 on major items $750.00 on minor ones.
Advantage offers up to $2,500.00 on major items $1,000.00 on minor ones.
AWN require you to get regular servicing done as you would with any car you buy and where the car is older than 10 years you need to change the oil regularly. This is brilliant for the longevity of your new purchase anyway and is very inexpensive.
AWN offers their list of approved repairers right across the country. Oldtimer Centre have an in-house mechanic who is 100% approved too.
There are unlimited claims & unlimited klms for up to 5 years.
You are only charged a one off up-front fee for the warranty & no annual fees apply
You are required to send a receipt in to AWN head office with receipt of the service work being done.
You are provided with an additional log-book to keep a record of this.
